Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine
The largest mortuary overhaul in Australian history
In response to a late 2020 review, the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine's (VIFM) Southbank facility in Melbourne commenced a significant upgrade to enhance its 24/7 forensic operations. Built Environs undertook the construction, while TekEquipment delivered bespoke storage and transport solutions. This included designing specialized racking to integrate new forensic technology.
Delivering a custom-designed modular storage solution to meet VIFM’s over 350 body capacity, along with a variety of custom fixed trolleys and fully equipped mortuary trolleys, TekEquipment is proud to have contributed to the nation's largest mortuary overhaul.
