Our latest grossing station offering is centred around a special work table designed to ensure a pollution free working environment for slicing and preparing histological slide preparations.
Thanks to its built in potassium permangante-impregnated alumina (PIA) filtered air recirculation system, the stations are ready for immediate use – no need for installing a costly separate air ventilation system.
Air is suction-extracted across the entire work surface from top to bottom with an optional retractable glass sash – for optimised removal of any health-hazardous vapors. Formalin concentrations are kept significantly below maximum allowable concentrations throughout the entire extraction zone, keeping users safe.

A specialised, stainless steel grossing workstation with a large surface area, the downdraft range of benches are designed with ergonomics in mind, providing not only a comfortable but also a healthy and safe work area. These are designed to be standalone units with carbon filtration, giving excellent suction of formalin and other fumes surrounding the cutting area.
