The Formadose is an in-lab automated formalin dispensing system which allows you to breathe easier on both formalin cost, user safety, and space efficiency.
The Formadose eliminates manual formalin processing by lab staff. It boasts precise dosing, pH calibration, automated dilution, and fume-free ready-to-use formalin output, all while reducing requirements for storage space and workload compared to current formalin solutions. Compatible with some of our downdraft grossing benches, the FDS range is a fully closed system for storing & dispensing formalin safely. The surfaces are completely made of stainless steel with a high surrounding profile border. Contaminated air is being sucked backwards throughout the entire working area to guarantee optimal removal of unsanitary vapors. MAC (maximum allowable concentration) values are underscored throughout the entire vacuum- affected area. The dispensing system is to be connected to a site-mounted ventilation system provided by the customer. Below the working surface there is room for a 20 liters formaldehyde tank.
TAs an alternative, there is a smaller add-on dispensing kit controlled by a foot pedal. The system contains a foot pump with adjustable flow from 0.5 to 1L/min. For installation on any existing grossing bench.
